Bio
| Melinda Akins joined FDRESA in 2009. Melinda has thirty years of classroom experience as a middle and high school teacher in Evans and Bulloch Counties with twenty seven years at Southeast Bulloch High School. While at SEB, Melinda served as Special Education Department Chair and as a member of the School Leadership Team and School Council.
Melinda received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin from Mercer University and she earned M.Ed. and Education Specialist degrees in Special Education from Georgia Southern University. In addition, she holds endorsements in Educational Leadership and Teacher Support Specialist and certifications in Reading K-8 and English-Language Arts K-12. |
