| Description: td> | Every year, Georgia recognizes its best teachers. These professionals receive a Master Teacher designation on their certificates, identifying them as educators who have positively influenced student achievement in the classroom. This year, the Master Teacher program staff will provide two information sessions. Why? Be honored…, Be a leader…, Be heard…, Be of help… Who? K-12 classroom teachers/specialists and instructional coaches How? Get support and approval at school and system levels. Submit supporting data related to student achievement/growth and professional responsibilities. When? Application in Fall of 2010 Announcement in Spring of 2011 Want to know more?
