Resource Lending Library

The First District RESA Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Program maintains a media center where instructional materials may be previewed and borrowed.  The collection includes alcohol and other drug prevention education materials, professional reference resources, pro-social skills development materials, study skill materials, parenting education, violence prevention, counseling materials, etc.   Resources are also available to supplement the Mendez Too Good for Drugs curriculum.

The Lending Library is available to all members of the Safe & Drug Free Schools & Communities Program Consortium.

Since there are individual school system policies and procedures regarding the use of resource materials, please note you local policy pertaining to the approval process for resource materials used in the classroom.  Videos intended for use in classroom instruction may need approval by your local school system.  It is recommended that you preview all materials before using them in the classroom.

In order to view available resources and to check out materials, please email Sherri Groover or phone:  912-842-5000. All resources are available to check out for a two week time period. Check out is not available on-line.
