This course prepares educators to administer, interpret, and apply literacy assessments to guide instruction. Candidates will learn the principles of structured literacy, emphasizing phonological awareness, decoding, and multisensory methods.

Course 3: Writing, Professional Practice, and Application

This final course prepares educators to support written expression and professional practices. It emphasizes research-based writing instruction, collaboration with specialists, and ethical service to students with dyslexia.
