The line each school is judged against is fitted by least squares across Georgia schools of the same grade span enrolling at least 200 students, and is drawn only where it explains at least a quarter of the variation. Georgia identifies economically disadvantaged students by direct certification, and schools operating the Community Eligibility Provision report every student as eligible — so the measure compresses at the top.
